School History

Martin Elementary School opened in the fall of 2002, housing grades three, four, and five. Schools in District 158 have been named after people who have had a major influence on the education of our children. Hannah Martin was an educator in Kane and McHenry counties for 60 years. Fifty-five of those years were spent in the Huntley 158. She retired in 1965 and passed away on February 6, 1981.
